Fish story: The last few trips I've had on the river were really productive. Clients took fish on nymphs, buggers, and dry flies. The dry fly takes are great! The water has been off most of the last few weekends. Most of the guys have been finding fish and several have been catching fish on top. We have had a lot of folks showing up to fish so if you are fishing on the weekends you might want to show up a bit early or plan an afternoon trip. I've seen more of the sowbugs showing back up. The ants are out and the fish are really keyed in on them. During the week with the water on in the afternoons and off in the mornings look for ants on top as well as some of the midges hatching off about 9am-10am. A good winged ant pattern has been quite effective. Midges and San Juan worms should be effective as well. Buggers and nymphs will be the best bet. ENJOY! Stop by and see us!!
